Summer 2024 Class Information
This course provides theory and clinical experience needed for the proper collection of blood and other specimens used for diagnostic testing. Emphasis is placed on ethics, legalities, medical terminology, safety and universal precautions, healthcare delivery systems, patient relations, anatomy and physiology, and specimen collection. Upon completion, students should be able to safely perform procedures necessary for specimen collections on patients in various healthcare settings and may be eligible for national certification as Phlebotomy Technicians.
Dates: May 15, 2024 - August 26, 2024
Times: Monday and Wednesday's 5pm - 9pm, and online assignments
Location: Building 17 Room 107
Cost: Tuition - $240.80, Books approximately $80.00, Uniforms approximately $30.00.
Mandatory Orientation: May 6, 2024 at 5:00pm in Building 17 Room 107

Students enrolled in Phlebotomy Course can apply for all the scholarships at the link below. Scholarships will be awarded based on financial need. Scholarship funds are limited so not everyone will be approved for a scholarship.
